Privacy Policy
Last updated: 1 November 2026
Friday is a personal AI assistant built and operated by Atharv Bhosale ("we", "us") for its owner and the people the owner approves. This policy explains what data Friday handles and how.
Data we access
- Account data: the name, email address and sign-in details of approved users.
- Gmail data (only when a user connects their Google account): email messages, metadata, labels, drafts and attachments, accessed through the Gmail API with the permission the user grants.
- Content you give Friday: chat messages, files, notes, reminders and tasks.
The waitlist
If you join the waitlist on fridayy.site, we store only your email address, which form you used and when you joined. We use it once, to tell you when it is your turn, and for nothing else. We do not store your IP address or browser details with it, and we never sell or share it. To be removed, email us and we will delete it.
Visits to fridayy.site
The fridayy.site landing page counts visits with Vercel Web Analytics. It uses no cookies and does not identify you; we only see totals such as page views, referring sites, countries and device types.
How we use it
- Gmail data is used only to provide the features the user asks for: searching and reading mail, organising it, drafting replies, and sending email that the user has explicitly approved.
- Friday never sends email without the user's approval.
- We do not use Google user data for advertising, and we do not sell it, rent it or share it with third parties, except the AI model provider that processes a request at the user's instruction, under that provider's terms.
- No human reads your Gmail data unless you ask for help with a specific issue, it is needed for security, or the law requires it.
Friday's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Storage and security
- Data is stored on a private server controlled by the owner. Google access tokens are kept in a file on that server that only the Friday service can read, and are never shown in the interface or logs.
- Access to Friday requires authentication; sensitive actions require explicit approval.
Your choices
- You can disconnect Gmail at any time in Friday's Settings, or revoke access at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
- You can ask us to delete your data, and we will delete it from Friday's server.
